Very early snowfall of 4 inches or so came to Bend area today, and other parts of central Oregon and Washington – it’s only October 4th and was 90 degrees here last week! Rumors abound of downed trees, power lines and other havoc around town. Here are shots from our deck area, including a large cracked snow-laden branch on a juniper tree, the still-flowing snowy fountain, and a still-going water spinner in the nearly-frozen birdbath.
